From theory to pactice: University of Huelva’s advancement
Lucas-Nülle Training Systems provide answer to the high demand for renewable energy experts
The Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Huelva (UHU) is located in the southwest Andalusia. In collaboration with partner SIDILAB, Lucas-Nülle has established a training laboratory for energy technology. The result was eight complete setups in the field of power generation and distribution – possibly the most advanced training laboratory in this area in Spain. The project scope included installation, commissioning, and training.
The project aimed to create a modern learning infrastructure addressing all current issues related to power generation and distribution. The modular design of the lab allows for quick changes to experimental setups and expansion as needed. Now, nine new engineering programs can be offered, and research projects can be realized. The transition to hands-on teaching was a success.
"Good things come to those who wait. In this case, even very good!" (Gerald Schex, Sales Director at Lucas-Nülle)
"Citizens' taxes must contribute to building a better world. Providing engineering laboratories with the best teaching material is a way to build a better world." (Alejandro Pérez Vallés, Head of Department of Electrical Engineering and Thermal, Design and Projects, University of Huelva).
