University becomes important player in the energy transition in the Netherlands
Lucas-Nülle Training Systems provide answer to the high demand for renewable energy experts
In partnership with New Age Learning, we successfully implemented a complete Smart Grid system at HAN University of Applied Sciences in Arnhem, the Netherlands. The collaboration was highly effective right from the start, including project planning, joint commissioning, and train-the-trainer with the Lucas-Nülle systems. Thanks to this new infrastructure, HAN University is now well-equipped to meet the growing demand for experts in energy transition and the associated training requirements.
Beyond instructing students in various degree programs on these systems, HAN also provides training courses for the industry. There's a particularly high demand from energy sector companies for additional training and expertise in the latest smart grid technologies. This successful collaboration has also resulted into a productive development partnership, as LN is currently collaborating with HAN to create a performant hydrogen system that can be integrated into the Smart Grid training system – a pioneering project.
"The Lucas-Nülle concept resonated exceptionally well with the client in this project. I was particularly impressed by how HAN seamlessly combines their educational mission with their commitment to energy transition. They aim to qualify as many people as possible in a practical and efficient manner, making the Netherlands a pioneer in intelligent electric networking and green energy." (Thomas Jost, Area Sales Manager at Lucas-Nülle)
„For the interest of applied science after the science there should be an application and I think this module helps us to do both.“ (Ballard Asare-Bediako, Senior Research Controls & Smart Grids at HAN)
