Schneller School shapes the future of e-mobility in Lebanon

The Johann Ludwig Schneller School (JLSS) is an Evangelical ecumenical institution in Lebanon. Its goal is to provide education and a healthy home to underprivileged children regardless of gender, race, or religion. Of the more than 300 students, about 120 attend the vocational school. Aiming to adequately prepare learners in the automotive sector for their professional future, the school's director recognized the need for education in e-mobility. This led to the decision to enhance the school's automotive technology program with Lucas-Nuelle's electric vehicle training systems.

Lucas-Nuelle supplied three CarTrain training systems and equipment for nine different UniTrain courses on the topic of electric vehicles and high-voltage technology. Mr. Ronald Hummel from Lucas-Nuelle trained the teachers on-site for six days following the train-the-trainer principle to prepare them thoroughly for their work in the field. The project also aimed to convince more girls of the importance of vocational training, encouraging some of them to join the new program. Additionally, JLSS plans to hold training sessions on safe handling of electric vehicles in accidents for interested members of the Red Cross, civil defense, and police in the region.

"It is pleasing to see how JLSS keeps an eye on the future of their students and does everything to ensure they receive the best possible education." (Sebastian Neumann, Project Manager at Lucas-Nülle)

"We are grateful to Mr. Ronald Hummel for accepting to travel to Lebanon at this critical time to install the training systems and train our trainers. We highly appreciate his professionalism, perfection at work, and friendly character. He was amazing in his training skills." (George D. Haddad, school’s director)
