Three new laboratories for the new construction of a technical secondary school

Hasp-O Centrum becomes a model school in Flanders

The Hasp-O Centrum technical secondary school in Sint-Truiden (Belgium) prepares young people in the field of science and technology for further studies or the labour market. The construction of a new school at a new location created the need for three new laboratories specialising in electrical engineering, electrical drives, automation technology, installation technology and cooling technology. After the school's technical requirements were publicised in a public tender, Lucas-Nuelle proved to be the best possible solution for the school's specifications. After the contract was awarded by the selected general contractor, we immediately worked closely with the planners to ensure that the electrical connections and room furnishings were perfectly matched to the required equipment. The Lucas-Nuelle team then put the training systems into operation on site, trained the teaching staff, supported IT with the software installation and advised on the organisation of the courses according to curricula.
The collaboration was harmonious, organised and in close consultation with the construction company. Despite all the challenges that a new building entails, the project was completed to everyone's satisfaction. For the teachers, the new equipment with the Lucas-Nülle training systems makes their work easier. The learners receive clear added value through a practical learning experience and modular courses. Thanks in part to the modern equipment, the Hasp-O Centrum is currently one of the flagship schools in Flanders.
