Electrical Laboratories for Klagenfurt vocational school

Lucas-Nuelle impresses with fast implementation and state-of-the-art teaching systems

At the Klagenfurt Vocational School, some 950 students a year acquire the skills they need for apprenticeships in the fields of electronics and electrical engineering, carpentry and joinery, and meat processing and sales. Practical relevance and the use of the latest technologies are important components of the apprenticeship programme in order to best prepare the apprentices for their careers. The teaching staff therefore agreed that the outdated laboratories and teaching materials for electronics and electrical engineering should be replaced with modern equipment. Lucas-Nuelle won an EU-wide tender with its training systems, which met the customer's specifications exactly, and was awarded the contract to equip five of the school's electrical laboratories.
The project was to be completed by the start of the school year with teaching materials for pneumatics, regulation, drives, control and building management systems, among others. The project was completed within a few months to everyone's satisfaction. Teachers and students are delighted with the varied and up-to-date lessons and are even more motivated as a result. By working with state-of-the-art technology, the future specialists are also optimally prepared for the professional challenges that lie ahead.
