Unique Laboratory Solution for Gottwald in Austria

More Flexibility in Education Thanks to Modern Infrastructure

With over 300 employees, Gottwald GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Melk, is one of Austria's leading companies in the field of electrical installation and plant engineering. Over the past 45 years, the company has provided apprenticeships to more than 380 young individuals, training up to 15 apprentices each year. In response to the growing shortage of skilled workers, the company decided to invest in its own training workshop. The goal was to train young talent in a safe, innovative, and modern environment, complementing their vocational school education and hands-on work at construction sites. Collaboration with the management, particularly the Gottwald family, was always fair and goal-oriented. Regular alignment allowed us to successfully overcome even unforeseen challenges.

The project requirements were unique: two mobile tables can be combined to form an island. Additionally, a lockable wooden panel allows for mounting and wiring, simulating real construction site conditions. Media access is provided via the ceiling, and the workstations are designed to be mobile. This concept was developed in close collaboration with the customer to create sustainable, economical, and flexible solutions that had not previously existed. The training workshop represents an important step in securing the company’s future workforce. The project's success was underscored by significant attention from both political and business sectors.
